Spring means new awakening and new growth

golden opportunities ready to hatch this spring

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven…

Spring has finally, irrefutably come. After this long and quite miserable winter, everything looks more hopeful! Today I noticed the daffodils out all around my usual driving routes; not just the early varieties, but the whole white and yellow bonanza. Hyacinths are happily flopping over as they are wont to do, and this is the week of the “red blush”—when the swelling buds on the trees make the reddish haze that precedes the almost startling burst into spring green.  I’m savoring every moment of my favorite season, because every year I feel like if I blink I’ll miss the progression of my favorite flowers and blooming trees that happens over these next four glorious weeks.

This is a year of tremendous acceleration, globally and personally. The global aspect I’m not going to touch in this post. But personally, I feel like I’ve been loaded into a rocket for a long time and finally, Someone lit the fuse. This year I’ll be launching a succession of new projects and learning opportunities, and I’m excited to share them all with you as each one comes into being.

Love & blessings,

Rev. Nettie
